About Us
Our Story
Baseline Roofing & Solar was founded on a straightforward principle, that when someone places their trust in you, with their home, their building, their livelihood, that trust deserves to be met with honesty, genuine expertise, and work that holds long after the job is complete.
Our Founder & CEO grew up in Arvada, Colorado, surrounded by entrepreneurs and business owners who led with integrity and built something of their own. That environment shaped the professional he became.
With a background in marketing, Houston found his way into the roofing industry by chance, he stopped by a friend's office to help get his online presence off the ground and walked out with an unexpected offer to join the team in sales. He said yes, and the rest is history.
Over the next fifteen years, Houston immersed himself fully in the industry, developing deep expertise across commercial roofing systems, materials, insurance claims, and solar. He became the kind of professional who could walk onto any job site, at any scale, and know exactly what needed to be done and why. That level of knowledge, and the reputation it built, is what led him to found Baseline.
"When you shake someone's hand, that's a contract. We show up to every job like we mean it."
Baseline Roofing & Solar serves commercial property owners, property managers, and high-end residential clients across the Denver metro and Boulder area.
Our Mission
Protecting what people have worked to build.
We exist to be the contractor that property owners in Denver never have to second-guess, the one that arrives prepared, communicates with integrity, and delivers on its word the first time. When the unexpected arises, as it sometimes does, we meet it honestly and without exception. We serve commercial property owners, property managers, HOAs, and high-end residential clients across the Denver metro and Boulder area, across commercial roofing, flat roof systems, coatings, storm damage claims, and full-service solar. Every engagement, regardless of scale, is held to the same standard. Because at Baseline, the standard does not change with the size of the contract.
A house is only as good as its roof. A building is only as good as its roof.
The finest roof is the one that never demands your attention, because it was built
correctly, by people who cared deeply that it was. That is what we build. That is what we
stand behind.
Our Values
Straight talk.
We tell our clients what they need to hear, not what they would prefer to. Clear, direct communication from the first conversation through to the final inspection. No ambiguity, no redirection, no surprises waiting at the end.
People first.
Every building we work on belongs to someone. It represents a home, a livelihood, a place of work that people depend on every single day. A commercial property
manager's portfolio is someone's business. A homeowner's roof is what stands between their family and the elements. We carry that weight on every job, without exception.
Built to last.
Every material selected, every installation decision made, each one is considered for the long term, never the quick close. We do not cut corners, and we do not recommend replacement when restoration will serve a client better. Even when the honest answer is the smaller job, it is the answer we give.
Commercial grade, every time.
The standards we apply to a 100,000 square foot commercial roof are the same standards we bring to every residential project we touch. The scale of the work changes. The integrity of the work does not.
Earn it.
We do not ask for commitment. We ask for the opportunity to deserve it, one roof, one relationship, one kept promise at a time. Your trust is not assumed here. It is earned.
The Family
Between the two of them, Houston and Sarah are raising three beautiful children, Amia, Ash, and Myles, alongside a labradoodle named Forrest.
Life at present is beautifully full. Teenager homework and toddler chaos exist in the same breath as soccer tournaments and dance recitals. All three children are athletes in their own right. Amia dances. Ash plays soccer. Myles, at three, is still selecting his discipline, though with Sarah's All-American lacrosse background woven into the family gene pool, expectations are already quietly, lovingly high.
When the family finds its way outside together, it looks like skis carving through mountain snow, surfboards on open water, trails disappearing into the distance, and Forrest ensuring that whatever was planned becomes something slightly more memorable than anticipated.
They live in Arvada, in the very neighborhoods they serve every day.
"We live here. We walk these streets. We care about this community because it' s ours.
Your Neighbors. Your Roofers.
Colorado is not a forgiving climate and it was never meant to be. Hail arrives without negotiation. Snow accumulates without deference. The sun works quietly and relentlessly through every season. The question is never whether your roof will be tested. It is whether the people behind it will still be standing there when it is.
That is what Baseline means. A fixed point. A standard everything else is measured against. We live in these neighborhoods, serve these communities, and put our name on every roof we touch, because to us, those three things are inseparable. We invite you to begin with a complimentary inspection, and to experience what it means to work with a team that never moves off its baseline.
